Our Primary 6 & 7 children visited Naoimh Eoghain in Newtownstewart today to take part in the Tyrone Schools' Blitz. This was a non-competitive blitz, focusing on honing skills, developing teamwork, but most importantly, having fun. Schools from Strabane, The Glebe, Drumquin and Newtown all gathered for a cold, but enjoyable experience. Our pupils also got to try their hands at hurling and remarks about how well they got stuck in were heard from several.
