This week, Jamie from the AMMA centre in Armagh visited the Primary 4 and 5 class to facilitate a coding workshop connected to their WAU topic on Ancient Egypt. Children worked in pairs to create an Egyptian avatar followed by designing an online game in which the character performed different movements. Pupils were able to design games with different trolls to try to deceive players.
Pupils enjoyed using their imagination and the workshop enabled their creativity to flow by exchanging ideas, exploring different types of coding and exhibiting their work between peers.
