Primary Schools - Though we would like to believe that our primary aged children are not the targets of online predators – we have clear evidence that children in the 9-12 age group are at particular risk online. Those of you who watched the BBC 3 documentary ‘Uncovering a Predator’ will have seen the way in which a NI young man targeted this very age group – across the globe, with devastating consequences. We urge you all to ensure that your Year 6 and 7s are aware of the issues facing them online. We also have clear recent evidence from a primary school in NI.
