The Yr 3 children enjoyed a historical walk around Gortin, facilitated by Ruth Baxter. The children asked many interesting questions and were amazed that there are still water pumps on the street - not operational presently!
They also discovered that the beautiful arched doors at McKeowns was to let in horses and carts in the past.
A truly enjoyable experience and the weather was favourable too!
