Congratulations to our P7 children, who received the Sacrament of Confirmation today at the Sacred Heart Church in Plumbridge.
Children from St Brigid’s Cranagh, St Patrick’s Newtownstewart and St Michael’s Dunamanagh came together, 34 children in total, to receive their third Sacrament.
Thank you to Fr Donnelly, Fr Colhoun, Fr Devine and Fr McDevitt and everyone who made this a truly memorable occasion.
Fr. Donnelly, addressing the Confirmandi, referred to two very powerful quotes from Saint Augustine:
- Your choices define you, they make you who you are.
- Lord, teach me to see myself as you see me.
These are powerful quotes to live by for our children and in a service filled with reverence, we are immensely proud of our entire community for showing up for our children. A truly memorable day for each one, who all played their part full of confidence.
