We were thrilled to welcome Aoife and April from Books Ireland to St Peter’s!
Our school applied to the Books Ireland Fund and we are proud to share that St Peter’s is the only school in Northern Ireland selected from over 1,000 applicants across Ireland.
Aoife and April kindly delivered over 300 brand?new books, all written by Irish authors. We were especially delighted when April treated the children to a reading from her newly published book. The pupils were captivated and are already excited to dive into our wonderful new collection.
This generous donation will play a key role in helping us build a strong culture of reading for pleasure throughout St Peter’s, especially during this National Year of Reading.
We look forward to seeing our pupils enjoy these stories and develop a lifelong love of reading.
