Prizegiving
Yes, the sun made a rare and glorious appearance—but it nearly had some competition from the sparkle of all the silverware on display at St Peter’s today!
Our annual prizegiving was a fantastic celebration of talent, effort, and achievement. Well done to every pupil—what a wonderful way to round off the 2026–2027 school year. (A full list of prizewinners is attached—prepare to be impressed!)
Two girls in Yr 4 also got 100% attendance Grace and Eva. Well done.
It’s been quite the week for success. On Monday morning, our girls captured the Cumann na mBunscol Cup at the GAA finals in Garvaghy—and, not content with just one victory, they went back that evening and won the finals again. Double champions in a single day… not bad at all! The U13 Cup was also proudly on display, a brilliant reflection of both our current and past pupils.
And if that wasn’t enough silver to polish, we also showcased the Yr 4/5 and Yr 6/7 Matthew Memorial Cups, won at the local schools’ blitz this year.
Also on show was the inter schools choir of the year sheild.
At this stage, we may need to invest in extra trophy cabinets—or at least a few more dusters!
A truly outstanding year for St Peter’s—well done to everyone involved.
