Library Visit

17th Nov 2022

The Year 2 children had a lovely visit to the Library in Strabane today. They got to listen to numerous stories from Katie the Librarian who was a natural storyteller bringing the books to life - you could have heard a pin drop!

All the children are now registered with the library and can use any library in N. I. The books on offer were so nicely displayed, inviting and up to date with many varied topics and the children wanted to browse through them.

All the children have a book home today and they can keep books for three weeks. Children can borrow up to nine books at a time. It is so important to take your child to the library to borrow books as it fosters good reading habits for life.

Thank you to all the staff at the library for a lovely morning.

The Library in Strabane is attached to the Alley theatre. There is also a library in Newtwnstewart and Omagh.
