Inclusion

2nd Oct 2025

Today, our Primary 7 class shared a very important message about inclusion. Inclusion means making sure that everyone feels valued, respected, and part of our school and community. As a Catholic school, we learn from the teachings of Jesus that we are all children of God, made in His image, and each of us is special and loved. We were told of the story of Zacchaeus, who was an outcast, rejected by many. But Jesus didn’t ignore him. Instead, Jesus noticed him, called him by name, and even went to his house for a meal. This story shows us that Jesus included everyone—especially those who felt left out. We are called to do the same in our school, our families, and our community.

In our school, inclusion means everyone has a place.
Inclusion means listening to others.
Inclusion means celebrating differences.
Inclusion means helping someone when they are struggling.
Inclusion means sharing what we have.
Inclusion means no one is left out.
Inclusion means being fair.
Inclusion means kindness in words and actions.
Inclusion means welcoming people of all cultures and backgrounds.
Inclusion means seeing Christ in everyone.

Lord Jesus,
Thank You for showing us how to love and welcome others.
Bless our school and community,
so that we may always be a place of friendship, kindness, and joy.
Help us to be people of inclusion,
living out Your love in everything we do.
Amen.

We thank those who were able to attend today, your presence was greatly appreciated by all at our school.
