First Holy Communion

Congratulations to our eleven Yr. 4 children who made their First Holy Communion today. Shea,Caitlin,Scarlett,Rosie,Alice, Grace, Eireann, Michael, Chloe and Aoibhín were a delight to their parents, school and the parish of Upper Badoney. 

We thank Fr. Donnelly for his spiritual guidance and words of encouragement. We also thank the school choir and all the children who came to support their friends in Yr 4. The children sang with great enthusiasm under the direction of Mrs Sweeney. We also thank Cara, Bláthnaid, Roisie and Grainne who played the instrumental music to perfection and all the children who played the tin whistles. Thank you also to Mrs Bradley who had prepared the children so well for this sacrament.

Finally a BIG thank you to everyone who helped to make this a memorable day.
