Our Primary 7 pupils travelled to Celtic Park in Derry today for the annual ‘Fan the Flame’ Mass organised by the Bishop for the diocese. Schools from Tyrone, Derry and Donegal gather together as P7 and Sixth Class students celebrate their end of primary education. Bishop McKeown reminded the children of how we should know our worth and that we are always worth it.
On the occasion of our 50th Anniversary we were invited to have a pupil take part in the service and Aimee was selected to deliver the First Reading. Many commented on how brilliant a job she did in front of 2000+ of her peers. We were immensely proud of her. Afterwards they enjoyed a little treat before returning to school.
