Today we had our assembly to elect new members of the school's Eco-Council. Our boys and girls spent the weekend preparing their manifesto to present to the school community. Standing in front of your entire school is a daunting task for teachers, so pupils doing this is so impressive (it was clear to see that our focus on Talking and Listening in Literacy last year paid dividends). More impressive was the knowledge and motivation from all who presented. Mrs Hegarty our Eco - Co-ordinator is ready to maintain the high standards set by the out-going Council and we are so grateful to all their hard work in maintaining our Green Flag status.
