Inviting all families to donate to our Shoebox Appeal. Last year we collected 80 boxes to send to people in Eastern European Countries. This can make a big difference to many people and their Christmas presents are mainly basic items that we take for granted.
See attached the leaflet detailing the items that you can put into your shoebox (please ensure that all items are new). Leaflets will be given out the week that we get back to attach to your box, so for now decide the age and gender of the person that you are collecting for and start filling your shoebox. This is a lovely thing to do with your child and will be remembered by them. (You do not have to donate money - just items in the shoebox).
At the moment we do not have a collection date but it will possibly be the week of the 9th - 13th November. We will let you know as soon as possible.
Please spread the word to neighbours and extended families as we have had a very good response from the wider community.
