We were incredibly lucky to welcome three members from W5 to our school to present to us about bridges. As part of our involvement in the 'A Bridge to France' programme we have the chance to compete to create a bridge of our own using materials provided by W5. As well as the French lessons in school and on Teams, we study a wide range of different bridges and structures. This was an introduction to that in school and we had a great time. Using K-Nex we had to construct a bridge no less than 50cm and capable of supporting a 20N weight.
What a great activity and we are excited to learn more before embarking on building our own in school.
