On Tuesday 17th April the P6/7 class travelled to Ballymena to showcase the work they had produced for Sentinus' F1 Challenge. The boys and girls had to carry out a whole topic of investigation on Formula 1; looking at aerodynamics, car design, friction and more. Along with this they had then to produce a clay model of a car which was 3D scanned before a balsa wood replica of their model was sent back to be completed.
The pupils produced letters seeking support from local businesses to help with the sponsorship of their car and for some merchandise to help their display. They are extremely thankful to everyone who helped them in their task. They enjoyed the day immensely and the school are very proud of all their work.
