The children in K. S 1 and 2 participated in an art lesson drawing an Easter basket. The artist talked them through each step and the creativity and individuality of each drawing was utterly amazing. The process was as important as the end product and the children were so engaged and proud of their masterpieces.
Participation in regular Art and Design lessons help pupils to learn new artistic skills, grow in confidence, help them with concentration and focus as well as aiding their overall wellbeing.
I am sure you will agree that the drawings are wonderful.
