Today, children from Primaries 4-7 participated in a special Anti-Bullying Zoom session led by Cormac from HIP Psychology (Helping Improve Performance).
Cormac guided the children through the different types of bullying, what constitutes bullying and showcased a variety of scenarios for children to decide if these were bullying incidents or not. Pupils also had discussion time in groups regarding the powerpoint presentation and had to complete a Kahoot quiz to test their knowledge at different intervals. Pupils enjoyed this interaction and gained a deeper understanding about what bullying is and how it can also affect adults, as exemplified in the presentation by Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams at the USA Open.
This workshop was very enjoyable and appropriate for Anti-Bullying Week 2023 alongside this year's theme - Make a NOISE about bullying!
