Helpful Reading Resources

I'd just like to point out two fantastic resources which are available now. Due to the school closures, the 'lockdown' and the fact that life as we know it is changing so rapidly, two companies have decided to try to make things a little easier for us.

Accelerated Reader have made their myON reading resources free for everyone. These books are all eBooks, children can decide to have them read to them, or read them on their own by muting the volume. All of these titles are available to be quizzed on the AR website, so good luck keeping the scores up.

Audible, the online company from Amazon, have also released hundreds of their titles free of charge. These books are only available to listen to, but during such stringent measures, breaking away for some peace and listening to a good story might be welcomed by both children and adults. I would advise any parents / carers to have a look for a title they may want to listen to and even encourage you to make any elderly family members who aren't technophobes to have a look too.
