Eco-Council 'Spring' into Action!

19th Apr 2018

The school Eco-Council have begun to grow some crops in the school garden and polytunnel. They have been helped by Annie Mullan, from Butterlope Farm. She has been in to work with pupils from P4-7 in planting lots of veg and herbs in the school. With Annie the pupils were given the opportunity to plan and plant in the school. They now have the harder task of ensuring that everything is tended to and watered enough to ensure a successful harvest before summer takes over. We are extremely grateful to Annie, for giving her time and lending her expertise to the pupils. We look forward to having her back in school in September, to start off a full years' harvest.
