The children in Primary 4-7 enjoyed a workshop from Kasha who grew up in Poland and now lives in Derry. She came dressed in traditional Polish costume and shared with the children many interesting facts about her country and traditions. The classes heard about traditions, facts and figures, mythical tales and local cuisine.
As an art activity, children were able to make their own mythical dragon and enjoyed the session. We thank The Culture Quarter for providing this insightful opportunity.
