All the children arrived eager and excited to get the pitch and even the weather could not dampen their spirits. Arriving on the pitch it was amazing to see the bumper crowd of parents and extended family who came to watch the races.
The children all performed well and everyone took part. Annie proved invaluable as a Personal Assistant on the day keeping great records of the winners. Thanks also to Sean who sorted the children out at the starting line and provided encouragement to all the children. Again thank you to Glenelly for the use of the pitch and club rooms.
This year we also thank Vivo the local shop who sponsored Our Sports Day supplying all children with a medal and recognising the importance of taking part and having a fun.
As conditions became a little slippy we had to forgo the Toddlers race and Parents race - I know that the parents were so disappointed as many had been training for weeks!!
