Friday 11th June saw us complete our Sports Day on the Glenelly pitch. Fun, good humour, energy and banter were in abundance. In lovely conditions we were able to get all of our races and our extra activity stations completed in cool and dry conditions. All our children had a wonderful day, especially our P.1 and P.2 class who celebrated Sport’s Day for the first time. We extend our thanks to Sean O’Kane who proved to be a BIG hit on the day. Sean was very well organised and set up fantastic stations complete with equipment. The music was pumping and so were the heartbeats of the children when competing hard in each race.
Race events included:
- 80m sprint
- Sack race
- Bat and ball
- Bean bag
- Obstacle Race
Sean then had 16 separate stations set up for the children, with smiles and laughter heard and seen all round!
