On Saturday night the Families First Awards celebrating Excellence in NI Education took place in the Titantic Hotel in Belfast. It was a fantastic night and one which will be fondly remembered. It was heart warming to have received so many fabulous comments from both present and past parents and pupils. The wider community also got behind us and left very specific, kind comments. It is lovely for the staff to read these comments and feel appreciated in what has been a very tough few years in the school community.
To be nominated and reach the finals of the best school in Co. Tyrone has been a wonderful experience. Despite being pipped at the post on the night, we certainly felt like winners. It was an honour for Mrs Bradley and myself to represent the school and collect a beautiful piece of glassware. We certaintly put St. Peter's on the map.
